I am having a Scensty party on Oct 20th and my consultant will contribute 20% of everything sold to our adoption fund!
My plan ( and I know God is in control and His plan may change my plan) is to have our home study complete by Jan and have our Dossier ( all the paperwork!) to Ethiopia by February. Then we wait for a referral. We have no idea how long that might be, but it seems that boy referrals are coming pretty quickly these days!
Since we were accepted, we have been able to become members on the AWAA Ethiopia Yahoo group. It has been interesting to hear all the opinions and experiences from this group. They are families in all different phases of the process and it has been a blessing to feel like a part of a group of people with the same ultimate goal... taking care of orphans.
